What would you tell your kids if they are scared of May 21?

I would start by promoting skepticism, so that my kids won't be quite so vulnerable to this kind of ridiculous nonsense. Of course, that's difficult to do when you're trying to dismiss one superstition while promoting another opposing superstition. There's really no way to convince your children that one bit of nonsense is false while another is true.
