What do you believe 'bout humanity? Will it exist? Why? Why not?

What do you mean humanity has survived great problems and events, what else could it have done? Humanity exists but it has its nasty ape-like side to it, for example Athenea goddess of wisdom doubles up as the goddess of war. Do I need to say any more?
