1967 Canadian penny (with a bird on the back)?

I have a 1976 canadian penny, and instead of having a maple leaf, it has a bird on the back. I think it might be some anniversary coin since it says 1867~1967 at the bottom, but I'm not sure. I've seen other pictures in the quarter,loonies, and toonies, but never pennies. Can somebody explain to me about this one? (and maybe tell the value if it has some value on it)
